"The GOD who sees me" Missions and Missionaries Donated Funds Policy:
Missionaries’ qualification for Financial Support and Projects:
All missionaries must fill out a Missionary Application Form to be reviewed and approved by the President or Vice President and the Ministry Director of Ministries. Then the application gets approved by our board Members. If approved, a letter of Welcome gets sent to the Missionary from "the GOD who sees me" Missions. If denied, a letter will be written for the reason of denial.
All missionaries supported by "the GOD who sees me" Missions must provide a yearly budget of their living expenses, a brief biweekly social media newsletter, and a quarterly report of ministry activities. All missionaries under "the GOD who sees me" Missions must be spreading the gospel, helping people in their spiritual needs, and lead activities that help improve the quality of life. The Budget Form for ministries and missionaries must include applicable costs such as hydro, rent, fuel, insurance, staff salary, vehicle insurance, etc.
All missionaries must hand in a year end report of their activities in January. This must include how they impacted the community with the gospel. Some examples are improving the quality of lives through education, life skills, good stewardship of resources, Discipleship program in religious learning of the gospel, or relationship building.
All missionaries wanting to do a project must hand in a detailed description:
Vision of the project a) Purpose b) How this project will impact individual people, community in which to improve one’s life, how this project will impact the community or individual lives with the gospel message. c) Detail list of approximate overviews for project expenses with a time of projected start and end date. d) Copies of all receipts (Fund spent on the project) must be translated to English, with Canadian dollars if necessary, and sent to our office of "the GOD who sees me" Missions. e) All ministries must keep the original receipts for their own record. All ministries must be prepared to provide original receipts if needed by "the GOD who sees me" Missions or CRA. f) "the GOD who sees me" Missions will do their best in assisting training, providing advice, prayer, and walking with you through your journey of ministry and being a missionary. A projected yearly plan in strategies to raise funds for missionaries and ministries must be provided. This includes plans like connecting with future supporters, fundraisers, speaking in churches, and other forms of gaining support for you and your ministry. This is essential for your ministry and/or yourself as a missionary to be financially stable, raising awareness in your community, investing in your local community to build relationships, and doing your best in making a positive impact in people’s lives. "the GOD who sees me" Missions, when able, can assist in these topics, but is not responsible for any type of fund raising for you or your ministry. g) When financial funds come’s through "the GOD who sees me" Missions for people to get tax receipted for your purpose of ministry, "the GOD who sees me" Missions will deduct 5% for administration fees. Please note that Canada Helps also has their own additional fee, which is removed before the 5% is calculated. h) All fundraiser cheques or cash that needs receipted, must be handed into the "the GOD who sees me" Missions Office no longer than 1 week after the event. This is crucial for accountability and no errors to be made due to time. All Cheques must be written to "the GOD who sees me" Missions, with the specific ministry in the memo for a tax receipt.
Mission Travels:
In "the GOD who sees me" Missions, we believe it is important to make sure that the funds going to Missionaries and Projects comply with CRA guidelines with the responsibility to make sure the funds are being used properly. As a ministry, we try to lead 2 to 3 trips a year to visit our missionaries, oversee projects, observe steps made for humanitarian aid, and/or visit Christian Schools and Drop-in Centres. Every trip must include:
A Purpose for the trip
A clear presentation of the gospel in the area we are visiting by street evangelism, preaching in churches, and/or in conferences.
A detail plan of what we are doing each day but plans do vary do to culture and unforeseen
Detail cost of tickets, lodging, fuel for traveling, car rental, meals, and misc. costs but unforeseen emergencies happen.
Must have travel and health insurance before traveling.
Guests going on trips led by "the GOD who sees me" Missions need to sign a waiver form.
Three or more people must go on any trip unless unforeseen events arise.
All information is available to all donors upon request of wanting to know where their funds are being allocated too
